In another long-winded Hank story, the cowdog gets involved in some mildly naughty antics, such as stealing wienies off a barbecue. As usual for this series, one or two minor incidents are padded to book length by a first-person narrative stuffed with malapropisms, hokey songs, and unfunny jokes. The accompanying illustrations match the text's quality.
