Horn Book (Tue Aug 01 00:00:00 CDT 2000)

In Robbery, Hank's life is disrupted when a lost dog temporarily resides at the ranch and a thief pays a visit; in Good-bye, cowboy Slim departs for a new job, taking Hank with him. As is typical for the series, the plots get lost in the midst of Hank's long-winded narration, which features an over-reliance on malapropisms, pointless tangents, and very weak humor. The accompanying line illustrations are also subpar.
