A young NASA scientist discovers a troubling anomaly: a huge comet is on a collision course with Earth in roughly two and a half years. The Armageddon-esque series follows scientists and several teenagers before and after impact as they rely on feasible scientific solutions to survive. However, there are plot contrivances, little character substance, and surprisingly few dead bodies for an apocalyptic story.
