The Life Skills series (6 titles) tackles problems that face young people every day. The books in the series not only describe and identify the issues but they also offer suggestions and strategies to help readers get more control over their problems. Family Issues? introduces different kinds of families and the various problems that arise, from sibling squabbling to coping with divorce. Although many different types of families are shown in the photos, there are none that are specifically biracial. All the books feature several "skills for life" boxes with specific suggestions. A helpful series for library shelves.
