As he confides in his best friend, Marvin (a beetle), he's happy for the engaged couple, but worried about what might change. Just before the ceremony, the wedding ring falls through a metal grate. Marvin and his sister help James retrieve the ring, and the story concludes happily. This entry in The Masterpiece Adventures beginning chapter-book series reestablishes the childlike fun that Marvin and James share, while acknowledging that fear of change can provoke worries.
