I Am Benjamin Franklin features a miniaturized, baby-faced version of the aged founding father, complete with gray locks, little specs, and brown coat. Addressing modern youngsters in the first-person, Franklin chronicles his own life, from childhood to the Declaration of Independence, focusing on the curiosity, tenacity, and other virtues that made him such a successful inventor, writer, and diplomat. An excellent series th a particular standout in Anne Frank rfect for beginning readers not quite ready for Nathan Hale's Hazardous Tales.
