Horn Book (Sat Aug 01 00:00:00 CDT 2009)

In Sleepover, Brother and Sister host an overnight--to the detriment of Mama and Papa's sleep schedule. In Reunion, told in singsongy rhyme ("Aunts and uncles, nephews, nieces / will come together like puzzle pieces"), the whole extended Bear clan converges at the family's tree house. The minimal stories with their familiar cartoony illustrations are thoroughly bland.
