Horn Book (Sun Aug 01 00:00:00 CDT 2010)

This book for "pre-readers" is weaker than its counterparts for slightly older readers. The text effectively uses repetition, but the rhymes aren't strong (me with safari) and the refrain is a little cloying ("I see elephants spray, / just for me. / I see elephants spray, / on safari"). Excellent photos of African animals are the volume's highlight.
