It's time to celebrate spring, but Busy Bug can't find his best pal. Short sentences, large type, and many sight words support emergent readers, but the thin story suffers from inconsistent rhyme ("Busy Bug rolls past the pet store. He rides around the giant peach. / Busy feels worried. 'Where could tiny Bitsy Bee be?'"). The illustrations are bright and cartoony.
