How are babies and doggies alike? This colorful board book has many answers, all expressed in verse and paired with photos from a variety of sources. The book begins and ends with the line, "Lots of things babies do, doggies do too." Clear color photos show babies on the left-hand pages and dogs on the right, both smiling, splashing, cuddling, sniffing flowers, and so on. Written in rhyming and near-rhyming couplets, the upbeat verses do a good job of pointing out similarities, but the crisp, colorful photos of babies (and sometimes toddlers) and their canine counterparts steal the show.
