Story written by Hilary Audus and Joanna Harrison. In this lifeless adaptation of a sequel to The Snowman film (based on Briggs's book), Billy moves into a new house; his dog dies; he finds a photo of a boy with a snowman. Then (on page 5) Billy builds a Snowman and a Snowdog that becomes a real puppy after a magical trip north. Readers drawn to the familiar characters will be disappointed.
