Horn Book (Mon Apr 01 00:00:00 CST 1996)

In this board-book edition of a successful picture book for the very young--about a mother duck's search for her peripatetic duckling--Tafuri's illustrations are as strong and well composed as ever. However, the shrinking of the page size means that the missing duckling, always partly concealed but visible on each double-page spread, is extremely difficult to find.
