The canine "Head of Ranch Security" encounters a raccoon disturbing the garments on a clothesline; later, the raccoon tricks Hank into eating a bag of horse feed. These two mild vignettes are stretched into book length due to Hank's loquacious and desperately unfunny first-person narrative. It is hard to determine which is more amateurish--the writing quality or the sketchy illustrations.
