Written by Aubrey Clark. Once again Cassie is up against some deadly enemies while trying to maintain a normal adolescence. Her evil half-sister is determined to take Cassie's place in the Circle, and witch hunters are closing in on the coven. Using her father's ancient Book of Shadows only adds to the strife. This is shopworn supernatural fare, but Smith's devoted fans might be satisfied.
