Twins Ben and Zoe are dispatched to the Himalayas for the seventh in their series of Wild Rescue missions. This time, an avalanche has separated a rare snow leopard from two of her three cubs, and it's up to the rescuers to find the animals, save them from being poisoned by locals whose goat herds are threatened, and lead them to safety. Presented in generously sized type interspersed with plenty of cartoon-style black-and white-illustrations, the outdoorsy adventure mixes straight-ahead action with basic facts about climbing and snow leopards. A little pedantic but appealing.
