Sixth grader Leo solves a variety of zombie-related mysteries with the of help his fellow Zombie Zappers, including his best friend and the half-zombie who lives in Leo's closet. While preteen boys and reluctant readers who love zombies may enjoy these gross and wacky adventures, general readers will find it hard to get past the superficial characters and inconsistent plots.
