Each book starts off with an opening scene that introduces the star doing what he or she does best: performing, playing football, etc. The large-font text is spare but informative, and chapters are divided logically. Each spread contains a full-color photograph that complements the narrative, which is clearly written and accessible for new and struggling readers. Glossary words are set apart in an italic, colored font throughout the texts. A solid, basic pop-culture biography set for younger readers.
