Gordon Korman was born October 23, 1963, in Montreal, Quebec. He wrote his first book, This Can't be Happening, at MacDonald Hall when he was twelve years old for a coach who suddenly found himself teaching 7th grade English. He later based his book, The Sixth Grade Nickname Game, on that incident as well, with Mr. Huge being based on that 7th grade teacher.Titles in Series
