Inquisitiveness - A boundless quest to seek and treasure knowledge, gaining an understanding of the wonder that surrounds us.
Chris Grabenstein’s birthday is on September 2nd.
Chris Grabenstein is the author of the New York Times bestsellers The Island of Dr. Libris and Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library, which was an ALA-ALSC Notable Children’s Book, an Agatha Award Winner, and an Anthony Award Nominee. Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library is the winner of 9 child-voted state awards and appears on 37 lists across 36 states. The follow-up to this smashing success, Mr. Lemoncello's Library Olympics, was published in January 2016.
He is also the co-author of several bestselling books with James Patterson, including I, Funny, Treasure Hunters, and House of Robots.
Chris enjoys reading books—even when they’re banned. In fact, his comedy troupe was called “The First Amendment Improvisation and Comedy Company.” He lives in New York City with his wife, J.J., three cats, and a dog named Fred. (Fred once starred on Broadway, but that’s another story. …)
